報告摘要

The inhalable biologics drug delivery market covers biologic medicines delivered to or through the lung, including inhaled antibodies and antibody fragments, proteins, peptides and enzymes, nucleic acid and gene therapies and mucosal vaccines, together with the dry powder, nebulizer and novel aerosol technologies and formulation services that enable them. Inhaled small-molecule bronchodilators and corticosteroids are excluded, as are injectable biologics for respiratory disease. Interest is driven by the ability to place high local concentrations of biologics at the site of lung disease while limiting systemic exposure, by patient preference for non-injectable options in chronic respiratory conditions and by pandemic-era work on inhaled antibodies and mucosal vaccines. Commercial products include inhaled insulin, inhaled granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor and inhaled DNase, while the pipeline spans inhaled antibody fragments for asthma, inhaled mRNA and gene therapies for cystic fibrosis and inhaled anti-infective biologics. Formulation stability, aerosol performance of large molecules, device-drug combination regulation and manufacturing of powders and vesicles are the principal technical barriers. North America and Europe lead development and device supply, with Japan and China increasing activity. Competition combines aerosol device makers, inhalation formulation CDMOs, respiratory pharmaceutical franchises and RNA delivery companies targeting the lung. The InsightAce study supplies US$ forecasts for all molecule type, delivery technology, indication and end user and regional segments over 2026-2035, segment-level trend analysis, competitive landscape assessment and profiling of the leading companies.
